Default Turbo Seals

Would you guys believe that the seals went on my turbo already! I have a Precision 62/65 Ball Bearing Turbo. I paid 1600 dollars. The seals went in 2 months. Does anything cause this or is it my bad luck.

you arent the first one to complain about those presicion BB turbo. contact them they might be able to exchange it. i have heard from a buddy of mines that owns a shop that if its journal bearing they always return them but when its the BB ones there not so easy to echange. by the way rasta my seals blew on my 60-1 now i have a garrett 6265 with a upgraded 11 blade wheel. got it from mikes turbo

well aint this some crap. the seals on my 60-1 blew recently as well with a little shaft play to boot. look at us, a bunch of high hp, ballin out of control, broke down tcs.

on a side note, let me hear more about that turbo marcello.

^^ do it, garrett gtx seems promising.. even the gtx30r goes up to 600 hp, imagine how good the spool w/ the high hp max rating..

hey brett ive seen your build before and vids you have a nice setup, if you know your ways around tools you can easily rebuild your turbo yourself, buy a rebuild kit they linger around 80 dollars, and rebuild your turbo your self ( most turbo components are pre balanced individually and not as a whole, like the were in the past) this means u dont need any rebalancing, a turbo can be rebuilt in an hour tops go online and type t3 turbo rebuild they all are the same design, just get the right kit for your trim/ size turbo
