Just have a quick question what the biggest turbo u guys have put on a tc front and back? just trying to get some ideas?

 

GTX-35R is largest we have gone, still spools well ( on our kit at least). Really depends what your goal is. At that HP level the turbo size determines at what RPM 4th gear shears... lol.

 

i have a precision sc6262 .70 cold side .82 hotside spools is ok

 

gregg dont go any larger than a 6262 for street apps man, that crap even takes forever to spool.

 

thought someone had a 6267?

thendawg has a 6262 and I've been in his car a couple times. He has a extended rev limit and a e351 tranny and the car is damn fast with nice spool for a big turbo

 

Yeah, I love my 6262, however if you do go with something of that size, id recommend a higher rev limit. Mines at 7200 and it feels great. Data logs show full boost around 4400-4500rpm, so on stock rev limit, its a bit restricted powerband wise, but when you up the rev limit to 7k or so, its great. Prob will also spool better with a better manifold design

ya dwag rasied my rev to when he tuned it on my old setup 60-1 about 20psi revlimiter set at 7400 im also on e351 transmission felt great

 

6262 here for me love it

 

Note: Everyone saying 6262 has a built motor.

Stock motor i wouldnt go past a 60-1 or GT35R.

 

I agree if you wanna make good power... unless you can run e-85 or the new juice e-100 which I will be running in my new car!

 

60-1 on on stock motor and stock 6250 rev is perffect good power band I think I have few videos on my YouTube of me on stock motor at 8-12 psi if your curious to see the spool up time

 

Does anyone know anything about the Precision 5857 Billet series turbo? HP capability, spool time etc?

Or would the Precision 6165 be a better suite if not wanting to go all the way to a 6262.

 

What the goal for the car hp wise plan on going built soon?

 

400-450whp. Built but not sleeved and 93 octane. stock head for now. I have a 60-1 now but i want faster spool to be honest, id love a gt35r but they are like 1400 bucks lol

im running the precision 5857 and love it. my car is currently down at the moment still havnt came to the conclusion of if my management took a crap or if an injector went foul. but the spool is pretty bad ___. i have a video on my youtube of me at i wanna say 23lbs and thendawg on like 25psi with his 6262 and the e351 tranny and extended rev. you can see me haulin ___ and then he zooms by me but its an amazing turbo. from what ive read its comparable to the gt3076r turbos in spool times. and good for i think 615hp but i dont plan on makin that much power.

 

i bought presicon 6031 with .63back but a family member just gave me a Borg warner s256ett with a .70 back the borg warner back look outrageous big i can post pics of each?
