Default turbo stalling/idling issues

what caused those stalling/idling issues on the ZPI stage 0 kit? I've read a lot of stories about this incident and I'm a bit confused as to what was causing it......

probably bad tunes or bad conection/leak somewhere in the lines. mis-matched spark plugs, poor installation.

that is also something that can cause it, i was just listing what i could think of off the top of my head.

alot of people have the hks ssqv and alot of kits come with it so it sounds like it is one of the best ones on the market.

I don't know about the Tial, but the HKS SSQV won't leak at idle (leaking would cause your stalling)

Then why did Dezod switch to HKS?

And for the record, I remember it also as being the Tial BOV they were using that was causing this. So, they switched to the HKS and have been Idle/stall free since.

don't know, maybe because the hks is clearly superior in terms of how it operates making it a natural iteration down the line.

Tial is adjustable to many different idle setups. you have to match it with the appropriate spring. Since Honda's idle at 25-20mmHG, we use a 11psi-12psi spring in it.

HKS SSQV have reduced their price drastically, so that may be the reason for the switch. but the HKS is good, i have it

They made the switch nearly 2 years ago.
