Alright I used to have a custom cold air intake almost similar to this one... N I gain 20whp but lost 23 torque!.!. Dyno n tune was at churches automotive....

the guy is running a base map untuned with his car, who knows what is on his ignition map.. and i dont know about the ecu pulling timing when it sees boost but our is ecu is never designed to see boost, but i know that when the ecu detects knock it starts to pull timing and adding fuel

was it the same tune before and after you installed the cai? or church's only tuned it after you installed the cai.. if so then it may not be you cai giving you gains but could be the tuner's skills and you could have gained more.. but you have some pics of your setup?

(Ace83) chuch tuned my car when i installed the kit, they r the only ones that have tuned my car, but u might b right once i got the cold air intake, i took it to get retuned so i can see if it help...... ill see if i can find the dyno sheet, but i sure saw a difference in the sheet more stable power in the hole power band.,...
