Ok....Let's play nice people. Cut bumper or no Cut bumper, it's not your bumper, so no need for the negativity. He feels comfortable with it, it's his car, he has the right too.
Besides, this is not the first kit produced that had intercooler piping cutting into the front bumper.
ZPI's FIRST kits made....had the pipes cutting through JUST like that. They changed it after a public opinion poll favored in not having it look like that.
But again, you don't have to drive around this car, cause it's not yours. It's his. And I'm sure that if you spoke with the manufacture of the kit, they probably could work out something that suited your taste.

The WHOLE point of this was sharing my enthusiasm for the numbers I put down. It wasn't please critique the way it looks. BTW, thanks for keeping this at the top. Also, its a freakin bumper, who gives a flying fluck! I plan on a kit anyways.

i like the cut bumper look, not particularly how Treadstone requires it, but it can look good.
however here in cali, i wouldnt even pull the car outta the garage with a bumper looking like that.
when i go turbo, everything will be powdercoated black, including the intercooler, and i will retain the stock grille.

Don't powder coat your IC black. The particles will get inside and foul up the IC.
Use thermal dispersion paint.
My GReddy Kit's IC is painted black with thermal dispersion paint. You can't see the IC at all unless you're looking really really hard.
