Here's why:





The hose I am currently using is a hydrolic hose. I'm tired of tighting the bastard clamps on the hose.

Anyone have a link to a SS line that will work with the Turbonetics kit? Google didn't do so well, either because I put in the wrong search terms or Google sucks.

Dezod offers this.

Turboneticsparts.com has this Oil Supply line selectoin, but no mention of if they are applicable for return lines.

I suppose I could have just sent out emails, but its more fun to pick the brains of the Scion community. I'll probably send out the emails to the listed sites anyway.

 

Measure the length you need and go to ATP and make a custom line. That's where I got mine with a straight -10AN on one end and a 45* -10AN on the other in a 16-inch length. Thing is pretty looking too. $46 + SH for mine. They have every other fitting you might want to replace too.

 

im banking on what dezod has will work...not 100% sure though.

 

I would prefer, if possible, find one that is prefabricated. Just swap it out.

If there is not one available, I will have to do as you suggest.

You mean prefabricated as in Turbonetics made it? Cause ATP makes these for you, you just tell them the lenght and fittings. It arrives at your door ready to install...

 

As in I don't have to tell them anything. I just order it, it arrives, and I install it.

17" would be more than adequate.

 

I ordered from ATP too, pretty nice hose at my exact size.. I should have seen this post earlier though I have 2 good extra oil return line both w/ -10 an fitting

 

well then ace you should send them both to me then....lol

 

I wonder if its the fitting itself that doing most of the leaking...i have a spare oil pan and i can weld up the fitting...just get the line and the weld on fitting, we should be good to go on that. I may even have a spare weld on fitting.

 

Hmm, I don't have any problems reaching mine. Weird. No leaking either. But I don't blame you for wanting to go SS, they're pretty nice.

^^ sure. What exact length do you need? we'll see how my oil lines work. I have the stainless steel braided from todd i think its approx 22-24", the other one is like 20" its not steel braided though but its pretty strong.. all have -10 an female fittings

 

I'm going to end up getting some Plug In hose. At least I think thats what its called.
