Default Turbonetics Turbo--- Check engine light?

Hello all, I have just got the turbonetics kit installed and every once on a while it throws a check engine light... At first we thought it was because of the flimsy o rings for the injectors but we got that problem fixed we just doubled them up... We ran a check on the car and it said that a four cylinders are miss firing.... is that cause of the spark plugs or is there someing else that could be wrong?

well if you took it to a shop and had the turbo kit installed, they should know exactly what they are doing (hopefully) and exactly how to handle the problem.
misfiring isnt a good ting. drive on it long enough and ur engine can blow up or jus fail on u while ur crusing.

and to answer your question.. i have no idea, i hope everything turns out to be ok with out a blown engine.

There should not be a CEL with this kit. Neither of the test cars threw one.

We have been talkin with turbonetics and this is the first they have heard of these problems..... i will check everything you guys have told me and get back to you on the issue.... The wideband gauge is sayin that the engine is running lean but with the factory tune it shouldnt be.

The check engine light is on w/ my tc also. It pops up the code for the catalyst. I'm not a technician or anything, but the car runs correctly and dosen't seem to be having any problems. Let me know what turbonetics says, because they said that the light wasn't supposed to be comming on....but obviously it is.

you probably have to extend the o2 sensor on the spipe just like on the headers and other turbos.

If the O2 sensor extension was installed with the kit you should not be throwing a code for that. I would defintely check that.
