Default turbonetics turbo kit safe psi

Hey guys I am just wondering what would be a safe psi to tune the car to. It will be daily driven and dont want problems but still wanna have fun with the car. This is all that is under the hood.

Turbonetics Turbo Kit
AEM Piggyback FIC
550CC Injectors
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
ACT Heavy Duty Clutch
Turbonetics Raptor BOV
Sport Comp Boost Gauge
60 Trim Turbo (basically NEW)
Short Shifter Doc Isotope
Drilled/Slotted Rotors

Thank you

All depends on how well your shop can tune it to run and what shape your engine is. Should do a compression and leak down test to confirm before doing it.

I believe they normally ran at 8 PSI.

Yep, tune and health of motor. If the tune is spot on, I'd run 10lbs no worries. If you're all over the place, I wouldn't push it past 8lbs.

The FIC has been giving me a lot of troubles with weather variances but I am still pushing about 9psi. I dont think anyone is going to give you a guarantee but ill tell you what paul is going to tell you when he gets here, 320-350 horse is DANGA ZONE! Stock waste gate spring would be your safest bet though.

I had my turbo tC tuned on a very cold day with the F/IC and never had weather problems with it.

You think if I get it tuned now before summer I will have a more stable tune for DD?

They should be tuning it inside at room temperature. Are you doing this outside while it's raining? Hahah. Weather shouldn't matter.

Depends. my tC was tuned by P-Tuning on a VERY COLD day with the F/IC and never had an issue.

My FRS was tuning with ECUtek on a 60 degree day, so on the colder days we've been having, I've had to turn down the boost controller, otherwise I run into boost cut and can't get any power out of the car.

The day it was tuned it was raining pretty hard and it was high 70s, and all the shop doors were open and fans were moving air.

It was like 59 degrees or something in the shop with all the doors closed, and about 78% humidity and my tune was spot on.
