Default Turbos used for 15k+ miles then sold?

I usually see people selling their used turbo kits on here and they usually saying going back to stock, is it because they messed up thier car? Seems like Turbos are not the way to go?

umm..not really...some people are selling the car, some are just going in a different direction and just don't want to be turbo anymore..all kinds of reasons...

i agree honestly if turbo what that good for the tc people really arent gonna sell it,ive seen people get excited about turboing there tc,then about 10 miles or so and all the money they spent, they either go back to stock to sell the car or go back to stock in general, why, thats a good question,i guess it not fun,but then again i know theres many reasons...thats why im not going turbo, my next car in goona come pre-turbo charge

babies

marriage
unemployment
un-motivated
wanting more
no money
other opportunity

most of the time... I've seen it has been a money pinch....

what f's up the motor is wanting more...
what i mean is... getting tuned at @8psi.... then uping the boost to 10, 12 , 14... sooner or later the motor can only handle so much..... thats when you start breaking ish....
250-300 whp w? a good tune you are safe. for a good long time.
you will run into little hick ups here and there... but thats the mane of the game

This thread really? Why don't you just ask the people who are selling them, why they are selling them. To draw a conclusion that turbo is not the way to go just because people sell stuff is retarded. Guess rims, suspension, carbon fiber hoods/trunks...etc are not the way to go either since people sell that stuff in the classifieds too.

About me going on other peoples thread and asking them whats wrong. Sorry, I don't like to do that, because I dont like to flame someones thread. at least thats what it feels like to me, especially when I can come onto this forum and post it on here.

^^^^100% agreed

...And to continue, Pass Emissions, Fund Other Projects, Fund a Motor Build To Boost Higher, etc...

I feel like a handful of the time it's people not having the resources whether to get a good tune or purchase necessary supporting mods; and aren't comfortable risking reliability for performance.

Money/Resources-->Nice set up-->Good EMS-->Solid tune--> Success!
