Umnitza Intake Question
Will the S/C run to lean with this intake? I know it will on others but I figured that since this is so short it shouldnt make a difference, am I right in this assumption or completly wrong? I also plan on getting an emanage blue in a bit here, should I just wait for the e-manage to put the intake on, im running a 9.5 pulley but not making over 7-8 psi at redline.
it will make u run lean...just not as much as a CAI would...unless this IS a CAI. But i would honestly recommend getting the Emanage, then the intake put on, and immediately get it tuned! Until i got mine tuned the first time with a similar setup...i was babying the hell out of the car because i was afraid to detonate the engine.
If the pipe is too big or too small before or after the maf it would mess with the sensor, but why would a properly sized intake pipe with the maf located in the correct spot and the oem pulley make the s/c'ed tc run lean? ...or will it?

^^thats kinda what I figured... the ecu even with the trd tune is still adaptive, it's the improper pipe sizing that is messing with the maf sensor
^ thats good to hear. The voice of experience is where I'd put my money
Thanks for the feed back guys.

here's a dyno proven example of how lean the car is with 9 lb pulley and CAI...the pink/very top line, is my first dyno run with that setup with no tuning yet...even worse at the top because i had the stock injectors at the time
