Default Unique dump tube

I'm running open dump on my kit, and I want to dump the wastegate somewhere other than the engine bay (no soot block for me)... Anyone have an idea on where I may get the tube to exit in a "stylish" way....

I can dump it under the engine bay and that solves the problem... but I thought it might be interesting coming out the side of the body panel or something like that...

Any thoughts on this?

im still working on my kit right now but im going to be having mine exit right at the rocker pannel behind the passanger front tire because i have megan racing exhaust and it points to that side. and it would be cool to shoot fire and who ever im passing

just so you know if you run open dump it is extremely loud. mine dumps straight down and it damn near deafens my passengers. Putting it by the passenger door is insane. On top of that from time to time you will see flames come out of it so put it somewhere where it will not damage any other part of the body. i highly recommnd straight down.

Cut a hole in your hood and route it out the top. Trust me, it'll be fun.

I would give you mad props.

Yeah... and a cleaning kit for my my glass lol

I'll probably dump it under the car, or out the side before the front tire as zer0 suggested..

Before the front tire would be sweet as hell. I vote for that too!

one of my close friends runs a custom T04 kit on his SR20 240sx, his dump exiting his fender. It's neat but it's burnt and bubbled his paint and he has carbon stain down the side.

If anybody really does this I would LOVE to see pics of the install. It would make one heck of a great addition to the DIY category....

We were setting mine up for the passenger side bumper but it will leave black residue on your bumper and wheel. It all depends on how far you want it to stick out but it'll be pretty tricky to pull off. That and it's hard to find the best way to route the pipe. Don't make the pipe too long or restrictive!

you have to remember it will also be flexing with the engine so the hole will need to be pretty big .

Always educated responses from toyotaracer haha...

He is right guys. Definately make sure you have all the angles worked before you attempt this type of project.

i dunno why you guys just make your lives easy by just routing it straight down.. why would you wana cut a huge hole in your bumper or fender only to have huge carbon stains on your car or ruining your paint... be smart and dont ruin a perfectly good fender or bumper for *aesthetics*.. function > form. and time wasted on un-necessary mods is less time having fun and more money out of yoru pocket.

IMHO it's all about style.... with the right fitting (as in the picture above) this is totally possible and will look really nice!
