Here's a few more shots of it in sitting in the bay.

We've got more on the way. (of this quality of course_!) such as a performance oil pan, custom intercooler, as well as an intake manifold.

these parts are going to take a few more weeks to finish up I will keep everyone updated as we get more finished.

Interesting design

is it based solely on the turbo placement?

Please dont take my question/'s wrong. There aren't many other companies pushing the performance aspect of the 2az, and when another one does as you have I am always curious as to what the thought process was.....nothing else.

Keep up the good work

Regards-

Todd

Wow, that is an awesome setup!! And if you use an intercooler with hot and cold side on the same side, you will have REALLY short piping!!!!

This will be the best looking setup ever!!!

Well I fuggure I'd give a quick update on our little project.

Here are a few of the more resent pictures of the progress. All that's left to do is the Fuel system, wireing, and to finish off the intercooler piping. Specificly the MAF placement.

Gangaster oilpan lol

The shown bumper we are using for mockup. I will be changed later.

oh yeah... someone got carried away with the touch up paint!

that's about it for now.

Brian was telling me about what LI was doing to this tC when he went down for a tune on his Hydra. Can't wait to see.

I was looking at the intercooler piping routing, and I couldn't help but to think that you would be defeating the purpose (somewhat) of the intercooler. The Chargepipe is right above the downpipe, do you guys not feel the heat dissipated from the downpipe will work against the cooled air going into the throttle body due to the pipe sitting right above the downpipe? Or is the loss from the heat negligible?

There is quite a few things that still have to be worked out. Right now we are planning coating the Down Pipe just like the manifold and possibly on wrapping sections of it. Even though it's kind of hard to tell, there is actualy quite a bit of space between the 2. enough to where it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

I see something that is different from any other tC build out there. Its got to do with the second and third picture. No-one I bet has even thought about doing this. EPIC>

How about welding a heat shield over the hot pipe? Then you can wrap the bottom and the side that's not visible and it'll still be polished and pretty where visible.
