Default Update: PSSSHHH!! Turbonetics Kit is Done!!

Okay major Update: The car is done! I will have pics and video later today but it is done! I started on Saturday night at 10 pm and finished to the sun rising around 8am. Took a bit longer but wanted to get a clean install and ran into some issues with fitment but nothing crazy. Overall the install was a little frustrating just because of the little stuff (some gaskets hard to reach and pipe fitment) but I had a friend helping me and he said the Turbo kit was one of the best kits hes done. Easy to him cause he has a lot of experience with engine work and this is actually the first major kit I put in.

As for the first drive I love this car! The spool up is fast and the kit is running perfect with no CEL lights or issues so far! Running 8psi right now on a stock clutch and stock exhaust so Custom 3inch straight-pipe no cat exhaust is next along with Ingalls Torque dampers and an upgraded clutch and flywheel! Keep Checking up for updates!
-------------
Update: Okay so the kit came today and it looks sexy as hell! Good packaging and looks like all the hardware came but we'll see tomorrow. I will post pics and video hopefully by this weekend (depends on what time I finish installing the Kit)

One question though.... does the Raptor BOV flange have to be welded on??? The pipe with the flange has bolts but no pattern inside where the bolt goes(two holes where you bolt the Raptor BOV to pipe). Does it have to be drilled with a bit to make a pattern or what??? Have to run a Raptor for now cause HKS SSQ will be here Tuesday.

----------------------------
Alright so it is official! My turbonetics kit is on the way!! So happy and excited! It should arrive Wednesday and I will be installing it myself with a buddy. I plan on finishing by Friday cause I have to work it in between those days(very busy). The HKS SSQ BOV should be here later this week and plan on putting that bad boy on Friday. I'll let you guys know how it goes and hopefully sound clips and pics by Saturday or Monday! What a Weekend this will be......

Extra special thanks to Turbo-kits.com for the awesome price and free shipping!

Thanks I will post pics!

BTW, MIAPLAYA if your reading this could you let me know of any UNICHIP tuners in Arizona? None down here in Tucson that I know of and after I upgrade my Clutch I want to up the boost to about 10 psi. And would anyone happen to know the size of the Raptor BOV?

The full specs of the Raptor will be in your instruction, its almost a full blueprint. But if you would like to know now, i can look for you, or just scan it so you can see for yourself

you have to buy the recirculating fitting to make it recirc into the intake like the raptor.
And BTW it sounds incredible just put one on my friends WRX

I would love to go Turbo, but I don't have that kinda money to throw around. Congrats on the buy though. I will be going F/I but it will be TRD and on a credit card. I don't know how you guys come up with the money for this stuff???

well - some people owe major money - some people make major money.

Either you have a $200/month payment for 6 years and have CC payments out the a$$ or you can afford a $40k car and buy one for $20k and put $9k into it.

There are so many types of people on here its crazy.

I really hope you get your install dyno'd because I REALLY would like to see your numbers. The numbers are high and low w/ this turbo.

Well i work part-time, about 23-24 hours a week, and owe on nothing except my tC. Its my only bill, well insurence too. Also, I bring home about $1,800-2,000 a month, but after car payment, insurence, going out with friends like every night it kinda adds up $$.
