Default Vacuum escaping from F/IC ?

i was driving today and as my rpm went higher, i could here air escaping from the AEM F/IC and i was wondering, could this be the reason for my car hiccuping every now and then ?

could it be the seal's not tight and air is escaping from the unit ?

can a slight vacuum leak cause that ?

car hiccups ?

F/IC is AEM Fuel/Iginition Controller

Sounds like a faulty F/IC if it leaks...

Sounds like if nothing else the vacuum source will not be accurate and therefore your FIC will not function properly. The leak may not even be enough to make the maf reading off. I would definitely check the vacuum lines first though.

small leaks from anywhere in hte vacuum line area would offset enough to get hiccups, expecially if your f/ic is tuned to load bearing values and all htat jazz....which it probably is.

there's no faulty f/ic if it leaks. if it leaks then grab a zip tie and zip it up....how woudl it be f/ic fault if it leaks? wth.
