Default VSV/Evap? Vacuum line location?

Ok well im not exactly sure what its called but the thing that controls the gases or w.e that had the vacuum line hooked up to the throttle body directly, i rerouted it to the vacuum block itself so my FIC could come directly off the TB... is this a bad idea because its letting the "gases" or w.e the hell go to everything thats hooked up to my block? or is that ok?

havent had any problem with mine setup that way. mostly the VSV only runs at idle, so all the gases are going to the vacuum source.
