I wish they could make this a sticky, I hate fakes. I heard people get fake tein springs thinking they were getting the real deal, and complaining about ride quality.

Yes, fakes definitely suck. You can buy with confidence because we are an authorized Greddy dealer.

They were doing this with the Type S BOV's, too.

I'm glad I have 2 of those if I ever need one or something, haha.

I should just sell em, they're worth more than the RS's.

I've got a real one :D.

Seeing the quality of the fake one makes me wonder what other knock off BOVs, WGs, etc are like...

We actually sell these as well. STOP! Before you start bashing me with all your hate, let me say that we do not list them as Greddy or HKS, we actually use the name of the Manufacturer that makes them. We do not describe them as the same, also there is a $150 difference in price. Plus we list them on the same page so that you can compare them. We do not try to fool people. Its like anything else in the world of replicas, watches, purses, sunglasses, toys, tools, the list goes on forever. You get what you pay for. And for those people that can't afford the real thing, we have to give them a chance to enjoy a little bit of what they can afford.
But let me just say, the Chinese are doing one hell of a job with these, cuz they look almost identical. I'm sure the internals are not high quality valves but damn. They even have the HKS SS now, you can see them here,

You're advertising it as a replica, not as the legit thing though. People were getting the knock-off BOVs when they thought they were buying the real Greddy ones.

You would have to have no sense of morals or ethics to do something like that. Plus it is highly illegal.

That's why this thread is here lol. Either people were ordering the legit ones and getting the knockoffs, or the vendors got the knock offs and didn't know they were knockoffs. Or if people are buying them used, it's a good thing to know what separates the legit versions from the knockoff.

I don't think anyone here has a problem with vendors selling the knockoff if it's advertised as the knockoff. It's the buyers problem if he knowingly buys the cheaper version.

Yea but your forgetting about the company that spent all the time and money developing the well known Greddy trademark that is getting screwed. They did all the hard work doing R&D and marketing the Greddy name then some a$$ hole Chinese company comes in and steals it. Why would you want to buy the knock-off and support that? If you though of some great invention and spendt hundreds of thousands of dollars patenting it and marketing it and two months after your new great idea hits the shelves some ******** Chinese manufacturer copies your trademark and steals YOUR sales, YOUR idea, and YOUR profits...you would be ok with that?

People who knowingly buy knock off items like the Greddy RS deserve to have their turbos overspool and engine blow up from a crap low grade valve leaking. For those who get duped and buy a knockoff unknowing I feel sorry for you and you should go to whoever sold you it and rip them a new one.
