I think with the 07's having a higher compression ratio, they seem to be putting down a bit more power than the 05-06 s/c tC's, anybody else agree?

Isnt the normal dyno for a stock s/c 05-06 about 195whp?

195whp?? maybe for a s/c'd tc but not (n/a)stock

i know scion says the '07's do about 160whp n/a (200whp s/c)

No, the 07's don't dyno 160whp n/a. About 150whp n/a. And he was referring to 05-06 S/C tC's doing 195whp, not stock ones.

05-06 is said to be 160 hp and 07 is said to be 161hp. I know you wont feel 1hp at the crank. But something changed between the models besides the MAF.

damn, 206whp, thats pretty good. i would like to see a race between an 05-06 sc tc against an 07 sc tc, both stock.

I posted a huge artical on here somewhere going over every little change the 07 model has to name a few 07's have a better flowing throttle body, intake manifold, high compresion pistons, oil squirters, slightly more aggresive cams etc.

The main reason the 07 puts down more power is...
- .5mm more lift

- Raised compression

- Revised intake mani

- Revised throttlebody....

DOH, yeah what he said above my post hahaha. Oil squirtrs are the #1 item in my opinion improvement wise for the 07. I already sourced an 07 block for myself.

Incase you didnt notice, reffer to my sig.

the 07's are at 161 crank hp, not wheel.

In the end though, don't you guys think the bump in comp is a downfall... or is it not enough to make a difference?

the bump in compression is a downfall for f/i setups, but an improvement for someone going n/a, high revving.

The new c/r is 9.8:1. Not that big of a difference.

206 is good for a stock supercharged tc.
