It's really common. it's just like he said. it's easier to see everything is ok that way. if your needle isnt straight up and down at WoT you have problems. Go check out a supra forum or a 240 forum you'll see it alot. there just aren't that many boosted tC's so not many people do it.

Yeah, my 2 switches were supposed to be one for logging and one for scramble boost...but they both do nothing now!

I gotcha now with the gauge thing... Makes sense now. So since im running 5 psi I would make my gauge sit so 5 psi is straight vertical so at wot my gauges should all be vertical. I guess that makes sense but I dont like the look but thats just me. Im so used to looking that them where they are.
I am actually thinking of switching to the ATI center gauge pod. I want to suede my dash and make it look like the pod was there from the factory.

that's nice too! but lol my cubby hole has my EDFC, and my waterfall area has my 7" screen HU.. And I want my gauges as close to the oem gauges too so i can do a better glance at them

I went for more of a stealth setup:
(this panel is going to be replaced with a carbon/kevlar piece when I get around to ordering it. the wood is only temporary)
And my UEGO is on the fuse box cover by my left knee:

I like it under the stereo door, but where is your stereo?
I bought my head unit thinking i would have room in the double din for a regular stereo and my gauges, but they dont' fit there with the door staying...now I wish I would have just gotten a 7" screen instead
