I'm considering the NST 9.5 lb pulley but with the price of premium gas...

What's the typical daily driving/commuting gas mileage you guys are getting with it?

I've been averaging between 26-28mpg driving in rush hour 30 miles each way to and from work every day. Takes between an hour to 1.5 hrs to make the 30 mile trip.

its not that. its that the trip is so short. 1.5 miles all stop and go. especially if you let your car heat up first before you drive it. that will kill any cars gas mileage

True, but you'd be surprised how often I can boost in 1.5mi. lol.

I took it easy on my last tank and got a total of 220mi when the light came on last night.

I want the NST pulley but I'm not sure if it's worth it at this point. I plan on cycling to work on my fixie once the temp gets back up around 30degF so I may think about it then or come spring.

Wow, that's only about 17 mpg...so with your driving habits and daily driving trip, expect to pay about 45 bucks for 180 miles, versus the current 38 for 220 miles. Also if you're hitting boost that often within 1.5 miles, you better be letting that car get into closed loop before driving it, otherwise say goodbye to your cat.
