IMHO the Turbonetics kit gives you a complete kit with a full warranty and out of box daily driver like reliability while also delivering great power.

If you are looking for a turbo you should check out the setup that TBK performance is doing. I bought a turbo from them since november and i do not have a problem. Currently I have my turbo boosting 9 pounds and the DYNO gives 270 HP which is the range you are looking for. I have not modified any internals, so if you have some extra cash invest on the internals and you could easily boost it up some more.
check out my car and DYNO runs at my cardomain page.

why is the turbonetics referred to as the 'safest' kit. What is different about it that makes it so 'safe'. Is it just the tuning. If so cant any kit be tuned the same way?

absolutely. But you have to find a good tuner.

Make a new post on this kit so more people know about it. Question, is the Haltech F10X a full standalone? Just wondering cause then people who need to get OBDII emissions testing would not be able to pass. Oh, and I'm liking the IHI turbo...
