you mostly likely would take it.. but it depends on both your tranny (auto or manual) and if he did have some upgrades

you do realize the "Sport package" for audis just cosmetic. The real question is quattro or not, 2.0 or 3.8. if its an s4 than its a 4.8 v8.

if its fronttrack (fwd) than its 211 hp. 3.5k .. SLOW
if its quattro than thats a 211 hp. 3.8k slow ___ car.
if its a v6 than its pretty quick
if its the s4 forget it.

a base audi a4 with a "sport package" is slow as ballz. that 2.0t means shiza

Even a stock tC does 0-60 in 7.1 seconds. An audi a4 stock does it in 6.7. And the a4 is governed to 130 mph. so even at top end, Not gonna help.

well most likely its an automatic that u will be racing esp if its the 09 because as i found out trying to get one for my wife they wont be out till later into 09 april-june time frame. The hp and tq ur talking about is crank hp not wheel horse power so its simple most people account for between a 15 and 20% power loss from crank to wheels. closer to 15 for manual and closer to 20 for automatic. so do the math and if it is awd it will be even less to the wheels. So most likely he will be somewhere in the 215-230 whp and 275-290 tq

In my humble opinion, bench racing and rice lies have no credibility...the speed you obtain on a track tells your unembellished story to everyone.

Java and I are on oahu, the only track they had here was taken down, and here is where the MAJORITY of the racers etc are.
Sooo much more street racing now.
Its funny though its mostly bull____ hondas with giant mufflers who think sound is faster then horsepower.
I think i made one blow out a piston ring once. Hehe

yup, its official, youre a god damn idiot.

its kids like you that kill people like me. quit being an idiot and smarten up, street racing is idiotic, selfish, disrespectful to the people around you, childish, and just plain dangerous.

i hate to say this, but i hope one day you go to street race, and you get pulled over you get slapped with a huge ticket, spend time in jail, and possibly have your CAR CRUSHED IN FRONT OF YOU, then maybe you'll grow up and realized that the people that say street racing is foolish arent "soccer moms" but just people that are way more intellegent then you.

kthxbye stupid kid

Some people need to learn the hard way and crash or get a ticket. Also the OP was from mass., not hawaii, so there are tracks nearby. So ... OP ask the A4 driver if he is APR tuned. If yes, you'll lose. If no, driver skill, but edge to scion.

yeah and i suppose involving innocent people in your "speed contest" and endangering other lives is not something to cry over huh?

I guess its someone elses fault for doing the speed limit when you feeling like doubling it.

Grow up..better yet..destroy your car and burn your license..

I am not a big street race fanatic either but there are ways to street race without endangering the lives of other people. I just find it funny that people on here act like they always abide by the rules of the road. Becuase if you do it once you are just as guilty as anyone else. I have a 93 supra single turbo with 550whp and i will open it up when im out cruising
