Default whats cheaper?

my roomate has the s/c, he wants around 300hp. so would it be cheaper to go with all the upgrades for the s/c(12lb pulley, header, etc) or go turbo such as the TT basic kit

Turbo kit. BUT if he is already S/C it would be cheaper to upgrade. Starting from nothing a Turbo kit is better

Yeah I can only guess that with supporting mods it would maybe add an extra 50 or so. But not 100.

2005 scion tc with supercharger with stock pulley, weapon-r jet hot coated 4-2-1 header and s-pipe, stock mid-pipe, trd axelback exhaust, and zpi crank pulley, made 209 whp, and 183 lb-ft torque! Seriously I think he should sell the S/c and invest in a Turbo.

lol, you guys talking about me? yeah, i'm looking into what i'll do next, but the mistake i seem to have made was getting 3 inch exhaust with a header. i think that if i had chosen 2.5 inch exhaust, i would have been better off, but now i am seriously contemplating a turbo kit, but that won't be until the spring i think.

My friend drives an EVO, I wish I can tune my car to kill his. But too much effort and too much time and money. I'll just wait till I pay off my debt and then get myself the 2nd gen tC lol. That's IF its RWD!!!

logically, with a piggyback tune, water/meth, 12lb pulley, and intake set up you can push another good 35+. so its not 300 but it does provide better low end torque.

3 inch too much pipe diameter for the SC with the header??? seeing why you don't like the 3 inch???
