hks type II is possibly the sexiest sound ever. the rfl, ssq, greddy rs all suck imo

You rev to 6grand in neutral with a small enough turbo (20G or less), you will hear Wastegate.

Depends on how big your turbo is. A small turbo, you will hear the wg if rev'ed high enough.

 

so with dezods t3/t4 spec'd turbo in an auto... if i revved what would i hear? low n high.

 

I doubt you would hear anything, perhaps the BOV maybe. One of my crew has a Dezod kit, but he has the turbo that comes on the t.e.a kit though. When he revs, he gets only the exhaust sound.

mine wont blow off when in low rpms or normal revving. sucks when im driving downtown trying to impress the ladies.

redrum, how is your bov piped? is it off the same line as your wastegate? Mine is and i'm pretty sure that is why it flutters of than the fact that the TB is causing some of it too.

 

Just a tip... Most ladies think something's wrong with your car whenever they hear your engine "exhaling" between shifts.

May not be a bad thing if you can't get it to go off in traffic. I hope people bought their turbo kits for performance reasons and not the bov sound

 

lol its kinda expensive to turbo just for bov sound.. the spooling turbo sound best to me

I bought mine for performance reasons to start. After so many kills, you have to find other means of entertainment, and spooling the turbo and letting off right next to another car with their windows down, makes for some good **** entertainment....

Hell, I do it to regular cars/suv's too...lol. I get stares when I'm just sitting still at a light (carbon fiber fenders and hood will do that). So, when they stare long enough, and we go to take off, I give them a little ____SHHH, just for the added effect....LOL.
