Default When will you need Emanage???

I know turbo books states getting a Piggyback Engine Management...

But, how come the ZPI stage 0 doesn't come with the 550CC injectors and pre-tuned Emanage unlike the stage1+ kits?

I checked for Greddy on whats necessary for it to work, and it clearly states that you need a Greddy Emanage or GEM Ult. for the unit to work, so how come the ZPI Stage-0 only says "We also recommend the use of boost, egt, and wideband o2 gauges for monitoring purposes. You can purchase these from our gauge section."

Does anyone here on SL who has a Stage-0 run without the Emanage and 550CC injectors?

no. i'm sure you could have found answers if you had searched, but w/e. the stage 0 can be run off of just the MAF sensor due to the way ZPI designed the charge piping. however, it is recommended in all F/I applications to have some sort of fuel management. Your A/F readings will be passable, but not optimal. bottom line: no, you do not "need" it. yes, it would be benificial to have a good tune.
