Default When would u suggest a 3" Downpipe?

i have the s1 kit with the 2.5" downpipe/spipe at what hp range would u suggest getting a 3" ?

thats what i was thinking cuz i kno on stock turbo cars a 3" dp does ALOT.. wonder why dezod gives away 2.5" though.

i have a 2.5 maybe ill step up to a 3 but then id have to re tune and thats cash money,.,

Do it when you step up your turbo... other wise it may not be worth the extra effort and money.

if you did a 3" s-pipe, would you have to get it retuned?

I would say leave the 2.5 DP and just go with a 3" S-pipe to add to your 3" s-pipe back p-tuning.

Yes get it retuned.. your spool-up should be a bit different - and top end HP will be different.

16psi!!! I think a 3" would be a good thing with that high of a boost application.

It wouldn't hurt - but for the work involved, might as well do it when the turbo is upgraded. Why go from a 2.5" DP (which is only like almost 3 feet of piping) to a 3.0" and gain 10whp (guesstimate) at 16psi when you can up the turbo AND the DP and gain a potential 50+whp or even a lot more?

ya i got my eye on that t3/t04 f2 dual ball bearing turbo by innovative. thats my next thing after i get all the engine work done :X droool over that turbo..

ya but thats alot of work.. and time.. and hassle.. and then id need a custom DP and alot of other ish.
