This is just to see how much whp/tq you can get with pump gas a low psi. This post is to show peaple looking for kits that make good power for street use.

As an outsider...forget that I know them.

1- cost

Probably the most important part of ones selection in purchasing a kit.

What are you getting for the money? And what does it compare too?

Dyno numbers mean nothing, even though thats the #1 question everyone asks....which means that there is allot of miss information and lack of education of the community as a whole.

2- Company following = lack of knowledge by the Scion Community.

Its just you....if they really want in the community they need to represent themselves.
Granted you are trying to help them as much as possible and you have to start somewhere. But they need to get involved directly to actually be taken seriously.

3- allot of shops build cool cars that make allot of power. Heck I have been involved with some of the quickest and fastest sport compacts, but does that help me sell kits...no. But I have learned allot by doing so and I get to apply that knowledge here.

Hope that sheds some light on a few things...

I am all for more companies like JE, there is plenty of room for all of us and it makes it better for everyone. Competition is healthy......when we play fair

Regards-

Todd

Companies like myself, JE, and Dezod are not the guys you need to be asking for gears and final drives....

Granted if any of us were to contact a manufacturer I am sure we could get them made and private labeled. But at what cost? As a company...and I am the smallest of the 3 mentioned I have to look at the market and see what the demand is for a product before going and spending big $$$$ on something that I might only sell 5 of.

The demand isn't there...yet

Plus the fact that all the other stuff you need to be able to take advantage of taller gears makes it even tougher.....who has it...not many.

You guys that want this stuff need to contact manufacturers directly...

Then you can decide if you really want it once you find out how much the stuff costs

Todd

java...you suck! Beat me to my own punch! But thanks for the props!

Yes, I made 252whp at 5psi AND 320whp at 8psi on the TurboToyotas stage 1 kit, stock midpipe. I should have new numbers by the end of the month...

But there was a guy on the "offical dyno" thread that made 230 or something on 4psi on a custom kit. I'll see if I can find that post.

Nice Meaty, I am hoping to see numbers like that at 5lbs. But I need to take care of that exhaust leak...
