Default Who is running nonflashed with their superchargers?

how long and how many miles do you have on your kit and have any of you gotten a CEL yet? desertheat?

I found a way to revert to nonflashed easily and am in debate if it will be worth it. And since some people here think I have nothing worthwhile to say lol you can pm me if you want to know how. A rep at TRD told me so I know it is cool. I also confirmed it with my scion tech.

This way, with the new stage 0 pulley and turning back to nonflash, the SC should now get approx. 213wtorque and 218.1whp without an intercooler, header, or CAI. This would make it not necessary to put in 550 injectors still? ZPI confirm this for me pleeeease!

yeah, i don't think running the 550cc injectors would be a good idea. That would make it run way rich because of the stock ecu settings.

I'm pretty sure Zoltiz is still running unflashed, but his car's been in the shop these last few weeks.

ok ok ok, i plan on getting the s/c in less than a month and installing it with friends. So what i am getting here is, if i decide not to reflash the ecu, then i shouldnt add the new injectors????

there not gonna do much to be honest with you...they are gonna run rich at idle, but not overly rich cause there is nothing telling them to push more fuel through them...If your not gonna get the reflash, I would get a Unichip and have them tune it for your setup and just reflash it as you start doing more serious mods.

Yo V-man. You won't need a reflash with the Unichip, because it controls timming and a host of other things.

A lot of people seem to be running without the re-flash these days but I just have a bad feeling that it may turn out to be a bad thing in the end! Does anyone actually know what EXACTLY the re-flash does? That would be the first step in figuring out whether it would be a good idea to have it done or not.

I've been running with a reflash from day one. Dealer install, so everything by the book.
