Whos Boostflow streetboost kit?
Ive been out of the loop for a while and this weekend I went to the Texas Mile where people bring there cars to a abandoned airstrip and have 1 mile to top out there cars...and now Im eager to get boosted again seeing all those sick cars and Im really looking at wanting to build a custom top mount kit cause I figured it would be cheaper than building a custom front mount but...I have no clue to be honest. But heres the link to this kit maybe someone can tell me something bout it besides the fact it has a badA manifold.

So at least I know the top mount is do able. See there is really no reason in my opinion for someone who wants a entry level performance to have to go front mount, obviously its more efficient but I bet if a company made a top mount kit and it was alot less expensive than a front mount, they would def. have some buyers...especially the Auto side of the boost world. A automatic is already halted at 250whp without upgrades...which dezods front mount on 7-8psi will hit...so why not just top mount it.
That link shows a bottom mount but it does look sexy. For an auto, I'd check out the Descendant kit. The price is great and it won't roast your tranny if you keep the boost down!
If you can't afford the Descendant kit, you probably shouldn't be going boosted because of all the other related expenses that go along with it. Just my opinion though. The Descendant kit is probably the cheapest quality kit you can buy. A top mount turbo isn't going to make anything cheaper, unless you know a guy that makes mani's or something.
I think hes talking about a top mount intercooler - like the wrx/sti have stock. I could see how that could potentially be cheaper (less piping, etc) but i doubt it would be much cheaper - ic piping isnt THAT espensive - also FMIC is much more efficient than a top mount.
the descendant kit comes with around 300hp out the box and comes with a tune, if u were to buy a kit seperatle u would have paid like 3k for a kit another 1k for engine management and then a tune, with descendant u just pay 4 k and have a fullly tuned car thats make 300hp
