WILL TREADSTONE TURBO KIT WORK WITH MY SUPERCHARGED REFLASH
hey, anybody here try puttin on treadstone kit with trd reflashed ecu ? Right now I hav supercharger on and may be I might go turbo, I was wondering if it will effect my car. Do I need to get it reflashed bak to normal or it is safe to put on?
If you use just the TRD flash for engine management and a turbo it wont work well. If you know what the TRD reflash entails, then you can pull timing and adjust fuel accordingly with the piggy back unit you would have from the kit you bought.

No i dont think it will overwrite.. the piggyback is a different system, the reflashed ecu has a different tune than stock, if paired with the piggyback it will not work well with the altered ecu. I wonder how much toyota charge to retune back the ecu. If it cost a lot then you might be better of getting a used ecu
Ace is correct.
The piggy back ECUs only alter signals going in and out of the original factory ECU. Because you have a reflashed ECU, the adjustments will be different than what most people on here have, so any existing tune will not work on yours. I'd say you're better off going back to stock so things can be easier in the long run.
