Its gonna happen. I talked to Chris Rado directly. The kit will be run off of OEM ECU.

Feel free to contact World-Racing for all your questions if you dont believe.

Just because it will be run off of the OEM ECU doesn't mean that Toyota is directly providing them with all Software and Hardware to create their own tunes.

Im not sure if they can custom tune, or if they will just have a standerd flash for their kit. You can always call them @ Phone: 610.939.9800 to get more details.

That manifold looks like it was pulled out of a Formula One car. That's hot.

And you are close enough for them to build your engine and install it. Plus dyno tune it.

I find it _VERY_ hard to believe that Toyota is just handing over the software to provide a custom tune.

*EDIT* Especially when no other manufacturer does this.
So you didnt know that World Racing and Scion are partners?

http://www.world-racing.com

The kit will be in 3 stages. 300hp, 400hp, and 500hp all based around the GT3076R.

I knew... it doesn't mean that they will actually get their hands on the code. And I wouldn't believe so much "partners" as Scion is a sponsor, which is a completely different ball game. Another reason to not believe it is the fact that this company would be in direct competition with TRD, and I highly doubt that Toyota would allow a company to compete with them and potentially lose out on thousands of dollars.
I don't know about being competition. I mean the supercharger is expensive but its cost will probably be half compared to the turbo kits. That and the supercharger is more to make the tC fun, as opposed to disgustingly fast, while keeping "reliable."

I want one of these. haha. Let me grow a few thousand dollars real quick for the kit and a ZPI auto tranny from the future.

Do you have any pics of the bracing for that manifold. Equal length manifolds like that made of SS usually require a large amount of bracing to protect the manifold against cracking under the weight of the turbocharger.

Yea, the TRD supercharger has that "Oh look at me, I have a warrenty", they sell many of them because of that factor.

This kit wont be warrentied but it will be disgustingly fast, with the perk of using OEM stuff.
