Default Would like some help!

This is my first time posting here but this site has really helped me find the right places to buy parts for my tc. now i have a question i have a 2007 scion tc 73k miles on it and i want to turbo it.

I just want to know what do i need to turbo my car/ what would be the safest psi to run on stock block or if i can still run a stock block with my high miles. etc.

i plan to buy dezod s1 turbo kit but i would also like to know is there anything else i would need. i know i need a new exhaust system but what else this is the first time i turbo any car so im not sure what i need to do.

The car runs great and i have not had any problems with it i have had it for a year, this is my daily driver i take it to work maybe 20miles monday-friday.

Any help you guys can give me would be great! i hope to turbo within the next month or so thanks a bunch!

Pic of my Tc just for it

you don't need a new exhaust system to run a turbo kit, but it helps optimize the efficiency of the turbo kit if you do.

If you have a manual transmission, you'll need a stronger clutch, if you have an auto, you should get a transmission cooler.

PSI isn't the biggest point of relevance when it comes to the engine reliability. I have 93k on my tc and i'm running 12 psi, but I have a smaller compressor on my turbo, so it isn't flowing quite as much air per PSI as other turbos.

Thanks this really helps alot and i do drive a 5speed manual my main concern was that my tc has 70k+ miles on it and i thought that would be a problem if i where to drop a turbo onto it.

If your engine is healthy, then there shouldn't be any problems right off the bat. Do a compression test and leakdown test if necessary to make sure. I boosted my 08 tc at about 85k miles, stock block, so far no problems other than the ones I created myself.
Make sure you find a really good tuner that has experience tuning the tc and your engine management before you do anything. It'll save you lots of time and money (speaking from experience).
