what was under the hood?

Some of the newly installed items:

1. PTUNING : Competition Spec-A 2AZ-FE Short Block

Engine Components Included:
- CP Pistons (88.5mm Bore (STD), 9.0:1 C/R).
- Manley Performance Pro Series Turbo Tuff LightWeight I-Beam Connecting Rods. We worked with Manley to design a lighter rod that does not require lower block notching.
- ACL Race Series Main Bearings.
- ACL Race Series Rod Bearings.
- ACL Thrust Bearings.
- Ptuning Competition ARP2000 Head Studs.
- Ptuning Competition ARP2000 Main Studs.
- Cometic MLS Head Gasket.
- Factory OEM Main Seal.

Options:
- Lighten crankshaft counter-weight to reduce rotating mass while allowing for a free revving, higher rpm engine with reduced oil windage.

2. PTUNING : Competition Spec-SS Turbo Kit (Tuner Kit without ECU & Injectors) - Time Attack Red I/C Piping

Turbocharger:
· Garret T3/04E 57 trim .82 A/R with v-band turbine outlet.
· SS Braided oil feed line.
· SS Braided oil return line.

Exhaust Components:
· Full 304 SS equal length low-mount tubular manifold with a long, narrow angle merge collector (Same as the one on our Ptuning TA tC).
· Tial 38mm v-band MVS Wastegate (new Tial design) (8.5 psi spring).
· 304SS external dump tube.
· Full 304SS 3" v-band downpipe. The downpipe is designed to bolt directly to our Ptuning 3" exhaust system (either turbo-back or s-back).

Piping/Intercooler Components:
· 22"x8"x3.5" bar&plate Intercooler with 2.5" in/out w/cast end tanks.
· 2.75" 6061 aluminum upper intercooler piping w/beaded ends and blow-thru MAF housing.
· 2.5" 6061 aluminum upper intercooler piping w/beaded ends.
· 4" 6061 aluminum cold air intake.
· Upper I/c piping will include a pre-welded bung for Water/Meth injection.
· Tial 50mm v-band Q-BOV (new Tial design).
· 304SS T-bolt clamps for all connections.
· 4/5 ply silicone hose connectors.
· I/C piping in either PTUNING Texture Red or PTUNING Texture Black.
· AEM Dryflow 6" cone filter/ w/ 4" opening.
· 2 SPAL radiator fans.

Options: Garret GT3076R Ball Bearing Turbo Upgrade
Options: Manual Boost Controller

3. PTUNING : Competition 900cc Fuel Injectors

4. PTUNING : Haltech Standalone EMS

5. PTUNING : Competition 3" Polished T304SS TURBO-BACK Exhaust System (Incl. 3" S-Pipe)

TURBO-BACK Exhaust features:
· Full 3" T304SS mandrel-bent tubing.
· Full 3" T304SS 2-piece s-pipe.
· T304SS dual O2 bungs (Installed on S-pipe).
· First O2 bung for factory secondary O2 sensor.
Second O2 bung for use with aftermarket wideband O2 sensor (plug bolt included).
Downpipe exhaust flange adapter-sleeve included for use with 2.5" donut gasket.
· 2.5" ID donut gasket sold separately.
· T304SS exhaust hangers.
· T304SS lightweight V-Band connections (instead of 2-bolt flanges).
· Eliminates exhaust gaskets and thereby any potential gasket leaks.
Fully polished exhaust system with mirror-polished exhaust tip.
· Centralized-muffler design for better weight distribution and stealthy appearance.
· T304SS Adapter for connecting to factory or other aftermarket s-pipe.
· T304SS easily-accessible rear O2 bung for dyno tuning (Installed on exhaust rear section).
· Eliminates faulty lean-AFR readings when trying to dyno a vehicle with a 3" exhaust using a tailpipe sniffer (To be used by your dyno tuner).
All components are carefully designed with maximum ground clearance in mind.
· We've added an extra horizontal hanger & mounting bracket for the rear exhaust section to eliminate excessive exhaust tip movement during hard cornerning (we discovered this problem during our timeattack sessions - burnt rear valance). Most aftermarket tC exhaust systems only utilize one rear exhaust hanger making it difficult to control the side to side movement of the rear section during cornering.
· Off-road use only.
· Made in USA

6. PTUNING : Competition Spec-SS Fuel System

· Kit Contents:
· In-tank Walbro 255 lph high pressure fuel pump
· PTUNING lightweight braided -6 racing fuel lines with aluminum AN fittings
· PTUNING custom return-line conversion kit
· PTUNING billet fuel rail
· PTUNING billet FPR bypass plug
· FueLab mini EFI fuel pressure regulator
· Liquid-filled 0-100 psi fuel pressure gauge
· Factory-style fuel quick disconnects
· All necessary fittings, clamps, hardware and detailed instructions

7. PTUNING/AEM : Competition Water / Methanol Injection Kit

Kit Contents:
- AEM progressive controller. Unit uses PWM to control pump speed (pressure).
- PnP wiring harness.
- Custom bracket for mounting pump.
- Custom bracket for mounting controller.
-Water level sensor to integrate with factory washer bottle.
- Integrated relay that can be used to turn off an electronic boost control solenoid.
- One-way check valve with mounting bracket.
- Three-position factory style switch for turning off WMI and/or EBCS.

8. OS Giken LSD

9. Competition Clutch Steel 12 pound flywheel

10. Competition clutch stage 4

and sooooo much more....!

It's not so much the block, but even with 400+whp (dyno dynamics) that on a DD tc with street tires, the car is scary fast. If you've never driven a tc with 400whp on the street and once you drive it and tell me that the power does not scare you, you're not being honest.

The problem here is breaking clutches, axles, wheel studs, tranny, etc. If you keep breaking those things, it's not much fun as a daily driver. And also it's not much fun if you can only run those power on race fuel.

We can get you the power you want, the question is can you afford the supporting mods and broken parts that come with all that power. Be careful what you wish for
