Default ZPI Custom Gauge Pod - Painted and Pics

Thanks ZPI-- ---Kenny had a custom fabricated dual gauge pod that replaces the dome light/sunroof controll. It does accept the sunroof control. My brother just got it back to me painted up today and it looks sick. I'm installing 2 dome light/push on switches so we can keep dome light action.... Install pics after Christmas

Curious... Isn't the cobalt guage narrowband? are you using a converter to run the guage so it works right with a wideband setup?

Nice! It is a good spot to keep the gauges. At least you don't need to move your eyes too far while racing if you want to see the reading.

I wish I could use something like that; however, I have to keep that area flat. I am still coming out with messed up ways to install all of my gauges keeping everything stocklike. :D

Yeah, it is a wideband set with digial readout in the glove box for tuning. The Cobalt gauge is converted to narrowband.

He didn't say either. A few months ago he mentioned it as I was asking about the vent gauges (but it was single) and I bugged him to make one. I think it's even posted on scionlife, but he wasn't sure if he was going to do mass production.

Mind if I ask what Wideband setup you running? I'm looking at innovate or PLX and have yet to really decide...

Considering the two guages (A/F and EGT) are more diagnostic, than neccesary to see all the time, the placement is probably just great....

I went with the PLX M-300 package. I liked it because along with the wideband dedicated sensor, it has a built in narrow band output as well for my gauge series. I'm really curious to see how well the narrow band meter matches the wideband unit readings in real time.

I'm probably going Autometer Nexus, so don't have a guage for A/F... I'm planning on mounting the M-300 digital readout in the cubby... as It doesn't have to be totally street visable for my use, just for dynos as I tune the N2O jets to ensure Balanced A/F. Plus, I think it'd look pretty in there....

Thanks for the response! Much appreciated.

definitely gotta agree with Munch on this one...I think it looks sick Sciondad, definitely innovative. Just be careful cause you are definitely gonna hafta take your eyes off the road to see the gauges...see if they would make you something like an ATI epod for the steering wheel since its only 2 gauges, but hey its up to you....like I said...looks sick

Happy holidays to everyone, especially you and your family Sciondad, and your extended family (ZPI )
