The show was somewhat interesting for the level of mods they were able to do for $1,500. I hope when they get into turbos and stuff it gets more in depth. I loved how the girl in the trans am said she can out drive ZPI and then got her a$$ handed to her. Now if i remember correctly ZPI ran 12 seconds in an NA car which I think is insane.

As for the format they make 3 runs in each car before they add the mods. One of the runs is done by the opposing team. Then they give the car with the lowest time a head start based on the recorded times. This way you can see how all of the mods help shave time off. ZPI had it right as they stripped the car down of all panels seats etc. Great job I look forward for the next episode.

Would you guys say the 1000ft races favor the tC rather than the other cars on the show because of our gearing?

Oh...no..no.. LOL..Not that fast. They ran a High 13 in a N/A'ed car. Still good as hell though. But 12's would have been, as you said...INSANE!

That tC weighed less than the competition. The Trans Am needed more power to keep up with Kenny's driving.

Ah ok high 13's, still really good. Yeah that transam was really heavy. They didn't remove anything from the car to lower the weight.

That was sweet! Thanks for posting the links!
What I think is crazy is that they got in the 14s for the baseline run. Was the tC stock for that run?
Looking at the garage video of the tC, I thought I noticed a header in there.
Also, they said it had to be street legal, but doesnt' the s-pipe make it not street legal?
In any event, 13s with just bolt ons for an NA tC is awesome.
Great job ZPI! now BRING ON THE BOOST!

No, not a 1/4. And I don't believe the high 13 he mentioned was during the show. Not sure.

You would have to ask the man himself if you want the full specs on the car. I have limited info. Just never bothered to ask much. I know what type tires, size of them, and little stuff like that, because I have stood next to it, checked it out, and sat in it. The Buddy seat is freakin SOLID as HELL with the cage in there.

Took me a sec to figure out how you squeeze into the seat with the Side Bar coming off the Cage in the way...

speaking from experience, kenny is a driving ****. when i stopped by there he took me around the block in their maserati. by the time we hit 80mph he decided to straighten the car out and take off. very impressive and fully controlled. i reached for the oh ____ bar, but none was available lol.

A misconception of the show is..."Your Motor Has to be Stock before the show and then add $1500 dollar worth of mods". This is NOT the case. I thought the same thing until Episode # 4 Aired. You know, the one with the RX7 with the LS motor swapped into it. The host mentioned that they allowed Motor swaps. From that episode, I realized you can bring the car in with Engine mods already done to it.

ZPI should consider putting turbo to show the powerful boost that the tC can do.

They will, but $1500 dollars does not buy a turbo kit...

They should be including the turbo in the next round. Will just have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Yeah he said the turbo was coming. I think they wanted to start out fairly stock and then add the mods slowly to show the power potential as each one is added. Good marketing for their parts. Also from what i can tell they started with headers, stock s pipe, roll cage, CAI and some type of suspension. They used the $1,500 for; seat, full exhaust, S pipe, and Tires.
