Default ZPI Stage 0???

I'm debating whether or not to get a ZPI stage 0 turbo. Can I get some stats on a stage 0? quarter-mile, 0-60, anything that'll give me an idea of how fast it'll be, not just hp/tq numbers.
Convince me.

Thanks.

Its either a hit or miss. You shouldnt debate adding things to your car if others have to sell you on it. The ZPI kit is very nice, and very well put together. You should be in the mid 13's with some good tires just bolting the kit up. But again, its gotta be something that you wanna do. Itll definitly be faster than the 15.4 your running now. GL with whatever you choose.

I definitely want to do it, I just want to know if the gains are worth the price. If it indeed does run mid 13's, I'm up for it.

Exhaust and s-pipe will help with the kit a lot as well. IT is a cool kit because you can either keep it as is or increase power by adding parts like intercooler, e-manage, injectors etc. Not everybody can or want to spend $ on full kit provided by other companies.

If/when I get it, is there anyone around my area (Alpharetta, GA) that can help me install it? I don't have expert knowledge of the engine, and I'm sure to f--- it up if I try it myself. Plus, I don't have the tools. Are there any shops around that could install it for a cheap price, but with reliable work?

Take your time and keep saving for the zpi stage 1 it would be well worth it in the long run.

You are in GA bro. Not that far from Me, and not that far from KY (where ZPI is located). If I were you, I would have it installed by the people who put them together all the time....ZPI. And if you want to be able to gain a little more power out of the Stage 0, I would recommend getting the E-manage before anything else.

And just to give you an idea of how much faster you will be. A Stage 0 tC can keep up with a stock 350z. And with good driving, will beat a stock 350z.

There is no way the stock zpi stage 0 kit is going to do mid 13s so you can forget about that of the back. Try maybe mid to low 14s; at most

I never claimed 13's. Maybe you can break a high 13. Like 13.9999 or something.. I do know it will keep up with a stock 350z though. More than likely beat a stock 350z too.

Well, I'd get a stage 1, but here's the situation.
I had a list of more stuff to do to my car this year (which summed up to almost 2 grand), and showed my dad. He told me that he'd buy me all of it, for my graduation/college acceptance gift. Pretty amazing, but I suddenly thought about getting a turbo instead of the 2 grand's worth of stuff. Now, asking for a stage 1 might be too much, and I wouldn't want to be more spoiled than people might think I am already.
So...I'm sticking with the stage 0.

If I drive up to KY, how much would ZPI charge me to install it? If it isn't much, I'd be willing to take the drive up there.

I believe a stage 0 can get to about 100 mph in the 1/4. I'm sure that a high 13 would be possible with the right driver. The power curve in the stage 0 is not like the supercharger so there is a broader top end power curve. Anyways I think it is very much worth the money and plus you can always upgrade later.

When you do get it, you gotta take me for a ride. I dont know that I could help you install it though. I do have a driveway and a crap load of tools though, and I got a kegerator (a fridge dedicated to keeping a keg cold with a tap on top). I'm sure ice cold draft beer and a bunch of tools couldnt hurt lol! Anyhow, I got a house in Dunwoody/Doraville not too far from you so when you get it, take me for a ride. I wanna get a feel for the butt-dyno

well if the stage 0 is making 230whp then it should have no problem running mid to high 13s .

Good to know.
What other mods would you guys recommend? I'm sure a new clutch would help (I'll probably wait a while to get it though), and tuning is probably necessary, correct?

Yeah, and make sure you have a full exhaust too. I think 230whp will be seen with a full exhaust.
