i talked to kenny today. he said they are having a hard time with the esk. he has purhcased some trannies from scion and is testing out 5 of them currently once he gets done with those they will be released for sale with atrade option like the do with the head.

 

this project has come a long way all thats left is the ESK and then we will be able to show those manuals whats up.

 

I cannot wait!!

 

so basically this will only help the autos that are running forced induction?

im a noobie and have no understanding on what this product is or what it does...At first I thought it was a shiftronic kit or something and was all happy that i can shift in an auto manually but after reading 5 pages all i understand is its some kind of piggyback chip or reflash of the ecu so the ecu would shift at different points making it comparable to manuals???

can someone explain this to me PLZ i have an auto and im quite interested

 

apparently its a number of things.

an electronic shift kit, to change the way the transmission shifts. ideally faster "higher performance" shifts.

a transmission valve body upgrade, for greater strength in its internals.

a whole new transmission altogether that is supposedly safely to take up to 500whp.

a very fancy turbo.

 

Should be at least another year or so before all the testing is finished... After paying $22,600 out-the-door (with extra air bags and extended warranty) I got so depressed in the TC auto performance, I traded it in and got a low mileage corvette instead. 0-60 in 4 seconds! Keep the faith brn2pla .

 

Has anyone heard anything about this yet? any updates at all?

 

ZPI is having problems with the shift kit functioning properly so they are more then lilky be going a few other options. Ill double check to see if any information can be released on it.
