i cannot find 30 guage wire anywhere. can i use the 24 guage for the wiring too or strictly 30 guage??

It will be hard to solder with 24 gauge wire, since soldering point is very small...
But if you can manage to solder it, then it's fine..

I've found 30 gauge to be easiest to work with in this conversion..
Radioshack has them..
It's called "50-Ft. White Insulated Wrapping Wire (30AWG)"

Most stores carry them...
You can get them in white, blue, red color

You should also get wire stripper that can do 30 gauge.. which I got it from Fry's Electronic...

This isn't for beginner, so if you aren't sure.. make sure not to jump on it...

I had customer totally messed it up... he spent more on repairing them then just getting them installed by professional...

Okay so i tried my hand at this
this is my first time and everything went great my only issue is that now that the MPH is on the right its not moving when the cars going




Is this image above correct?
Looking at the far right terminal, the wires coming from the far left terminal both go to the pcb board.. all others are top to bottom crosses.
Is the diagram wrong?

yes, diagram wrong.

connect the signal from the other motor to the pin for that motor.

If you see the actual picture, it's correct..
From the diagram, line was little short..

Diagram is fixed and updated now...
