Default *06' Alpine Double-DIN!*

Just visiting the Alpine-USA.com and saw that the 06' HU's are comming out! I also saw that they now have a Double-DIN! Comming out in March. Soooo excited! I love alpine as you can tell since i have a complete alpine system! Im thinking about going for the Double-DIN. Looks pretty good, i believe it has navigation, but i really wouldnt use it? Only the DVD and NEW Full Speed Connection for iPod. Just 1 cable! I wouldnt need my KCA-420i. I wanted to keep my audio all alpine too, and didnt want the flip out dvd player cause it wouldt fit! Just wanted yall input on this. What do yall think about me getting this one? Heres the site

thanks to hot import nights for every 2DIN radio needing to have a screen on it. I like the fuctions of the radio, but I don't care for the way it looks. Why can't we also get a normal 2DIN from Alpine( or any other company) like CD/MD/HDD without the gaudy screen? Ever see the new 2DIN's with color matched lighting? Very cool radio's. Oh well. Just my 2 cents anyway.

There will be a little card that you can buy that will add navi, I think it's pretty expensive though.

i believe it does have navi, i was looking at the tutorials on this and the function has a navi, or so it said? click the "Check out the iPod® FullSpeed micro site here!" link and check out the tutorials, then click on the "See it Work" tab, after that click the model number for the Double-DIN. You will see in the source selection that it has Navi? IDK, maybe ////Alpine doesnt want to tell us? Punks...................but i still love them!

God no! $1,100.......you'll probally find "IT" on ebay for around $900-1K? Hopefully!

Im just glad that it has just 1 cable for the ipod since the one i have (KCA-420i), i had to hide the box under the arm rest, right behind the e-brake. BTW that cable (KCE-422i) is valued at $30, not bad, $20 on ebay probally!

It seems to expensive without navi for me. For an extra $300 you can get double dins with navi.
