'05 with aftermarket HU, installing '08 Sub
Hi all,
Please don't flame for installing a crappy sub with a crappy amp on an aftermarket stereo.
I have the '08 factory sub with the harness, and want to install it in my '05, to my alpine xda-100 headunit.
I'm looking at this plug and wondering 'why all the friggin' wires!'
There's purple, pink, orange, yellow, white, blue and black.
I'd figure a typical sub would require, ground, power, subcontrol and a couple of rca's.
Has anyone done this, or could shed some light?
