My 06 Scion TC has lost the audio completely. Gauges work
fine and all the modes show up when I switch from cd to aux to fm and
so on. Checked the fuse and that's not it. Not even any distortion.
It's just silence. Anyone ever had this issue? Could it be the speakers?

 

it is almost impossible all 4 speakers go out at once.

Your radio looks like getting power, Maybe the speaker harness is disconnect behind the head unit?

 

Amp could have went out inside the head unit? Maybe a speaker that is grounding out somewhere? Can't remember if that'd cause all or just one to go out

Im guessing the amp went out. If you can get to bare wires for each speaker you could test continuity for each speaker. That would probably isolate it as a head unit problem and not a speaker ground problem.

Is this common for speakers to go out like this? I mean it randomly happened. Weird. What could've caused this?
