Default 06 TC Headrest Monitors

I know at least for me there was a lot of debate as to what size monitors would fit in the 06 TC headrest. I had read the 5.6 was the max, but here are the monitors that I put in mine. They are the Kenwood 6.5" Widescreen, and I think they absolutely awesome!! Let me know what you think! More pics of car here:

It looks like you could prolly squeeze a 7" in there if you really tried...

Actually you probably could but I dont know if I would want to push it around those sewn seams.....Does look like there is plenty of room though!!

a 7" does fit. I have 7"s in mine. I dont have a real upclose pic but here is one from a little bit of distance.. the pic is awful..

Thats what I am thinking B.. Its like 30something here and Im just chillin indoors I was thinking of doing the same thing, only you beat me too it.. Nice work B...

Those look really smooth with the lines of the headrest .

Well these are not cheap ones they are Kenwood LX6500W, and they run around $300 a piece. They do include a video switcher that both monitors plug into. The switcher provides power, and all of you signals as well as 2 inputs, and 1 output, and of course a remote.

Wow nice. I'd like to do something like that in mine. My HU already has the outputs. How hard was it to mount them?

I did not do a DIY(mainly because I was unsure as to how they were going to turn out)
