'06 tc radio into a '05 scion tc
I want to add a sub woofer into my 2005 scion tc. I have read that it only has an output for a boozoka sub. I also read that the pioneer t1806 that comes in the '06 tc has outputs for a regular sub.
If I buy a cd player (pioneer t1806) that is from a '06 scion, will it fit and work properly in my 2005 scion?
Will i need a new wiring harness or is this gonna be an easy swap out?
Thanks!

None of the stock Pioneer radios regardless of year have sub outputs!! You need a Line Output Converter, to run subs off of the stock radios. So in essence you don't need a different stock radio, just use yours.
