07 Scion tC Amp Installation questions...
Ok I've run the power line from the battery to the back. I'm confused as this is my first time installing an amp. I wan't to hook the rest up now but I'm confused on what to do.
Is it necessary to pull out the stock deck? I have this Line out converter a friend gave me but i'm confused is this an alternative to pulling the deck out?
Any advice on getting the RCA's hooked up would be very helpful. I have a scosche Amp install DVD but I started reading online and it looks like the Scion tC doesn't have the RCA plugs?
is this correct? If I have to pull the stock deck out whats the easiest way to do so?

Run the Power cable from your battery to the back of your car. Make sure you put a fuse on it, it is extremely important. As for ground, just scrap off some paint on the chassis and use a screw to fasten your ground cable onto the chassis.
you'll need to pull out the radio and hook up the Line Output Converter (LOC). On the LOC there's probably five wires on it (white, white/black, Gray, Gray/black, and a black). Dont worry about the black. your factory speaker wires are as follows: LR black+/yellow- RR Red+/white-
Tag your speakers wire accordingly:
White - Black
White/black - yellow
Gray - Red
Graywhite- white
you'll also need a remote turn on, since your factory radio doesn't have a true remote wire, you 'll have to use the accessory wire. This should be a thin gray wire on your wiring harness. again all these wire will be found behind the radio. The rear speakers will all be together on a smaller harness, while the accessory will be found on a the bigger harness.
hook up some rca's into the LOC and run it back your amp. dont forget to run the remote line too. soon after this you'll be in business. good luck.

I was told I can attach my line out converter to my rear speakers and run them to the amp from there so I don't have to take out my deck. Is this true? if so what color are the wires I hook up to the LOC from the speakers? Whats the easiest way to get to the rear speakers without tearing my Tc apart?
easiest way is behind the radio. its alot easier than you think.. here's a link for some instructions that somehow has already provided.
