I'll make this succinct:

1. I didn't receive any kind of manual for my stock (base) headunit in my '09. Should I have and if so, where can I get this, the dealer?

2. In the meantime, does the base unit have a preamp out?

3. How can I get to the stock 6" sub to disconnect it? Couldn't find a guide, and it's not obvious to me when looking at it.

3) u can unplug it behind your deck or at the trunk where the sub box is.

There are NO pre-amp outputs......

There is a plug in your trunk at the rear-left corner of the stock sub enclosure. Just un-plug it there. It takes 2 seconds. I can take pics if you cannot find it.
