i don't listen to any rap and a lot of guitar and kick bass music so i need something tight and accurate. so should i do a 10 or an 8 since we have a hatch the bass will sound better. keep in mind i can get a type r 10 for 70 bucks with my bb discount

the sub isn't everything, your amp and box make a huge difference. if you can get the 10 cheaper then go for it, otherwise the 8 with a box made for the freq. you are looking to get will sound just as good.

 

atleast 10.. i think it would suck to be able to lay your pee pee across the sub... just random thing..

 

im running an alpine amp, all alpine type r and v power series amps

 

I am running an Infinity REF1052 DVC in a .66cu ft box with an Alpine M450 amp. I will tell you that it sounds freaking amazing. The sub was open box at BB for $80 and it was money well spent. Wait till you see the post of my install and you'll see how neat a 10 will fit in the tC's trunk.
