anyone have the scion option for the speaker upgrade PN 00016-7942 and the subwoofer PN PTS20-21050. any good obviously subs are better but im getting an amazing deal ont he whole set. TRD sparks lists for 265.91 plus shipping on the speakers and 264.00 plus shipping ont he sub. and im getting it for cheaper so just wanna kno wat people think who have it. not a big audio guy i dont really care about it that much but the speakers arent that great.

 

...how much are you getting everything for? i'd say it's not worth it but hey, it's your car.

 

I wouldnt but thats just my view. 100watt sub is nothing. I have 200watts rms on my 1 8inch and I wish I had more. There are write-ups on how to change the speakers and Elemental design made mounts so its all good - I would go elsewhere.

 

good point jwaggz. i have 220 watts RMS on my 12" and it's good enough, but only b/c i have a good pioneer sub and our cars are hatches. you will NOT be impressed with 100 watts at all. i'd imagine you'd get some pretty ugly sounds out of that if the volume ever went up.

 

100 watts is like driving in Kansas...there is nothing there! I got my 10" and 300 watt amp for 250

 

hmmm true i just get it at cost thats why i figured...i guess ill just get some good bostons or pioneer speakers and just get a 10" sub im not big on subs so a 10" will do..BLUETC06's set up i guess is prolly where id be at..thanks i was just curious..idc about how much i spend ill spend for quality i just figured it woulda been decent but glade i asked...anyone have the set up tho???curious to know how it sounds...
