2007 Scion tC Ipod question
I recently purchased a 2007 Scion tC with the Ipod connectivity option in the armrest. I was wondering if anyone out there had recommendations as to what kind of jack/input device I should but to connect my Ipod for playing through the system. I've been burned on Apple/Griffin products before, so I want to make sure I buy a good one.
If you can post a link to the item (where to purchase it, pictures) all the better!
Thanks!

Without going out and looking in my armrest Im not sure but think that you have one audio (aux) connection in the armrest if you get the stock HU.
If you are referring to that AUX input (looks like headphone jack on Ipod) then all you need is an audio cable that has mini jacks on both ends.
If you are referring to the actual ipod interface, and your scion HU is the Ipod capable unit, then as Keeshwah stated, you should have received the cable that connects to your Ipod.
What model number is on your HU?

Hey- thanks for the advice. I am talking about the input jack (I think- it's hard for me to see down in the console and get a good look at the thing). I don't have anything that allows me to just dock my Ipod directly.
So you think something like this would do the trick?:

Thanks!

Look on the front of the radio and post what model number receiver you have. You need to make sure you know what options you have before you go buy anything.
The link you posted pulled up an ipod page but did not show any item.
For the Non Ipod Compatible Unit, using the AUX port in the armrest, all you need is an audio cable. It will have a plug on each end that looks just like the plug on the ipod headphones.

does your radio have the volume *** in the center of the radio or do you have two rotary connectors?
If you only have one then that cable that you have linked to should work. If you have two rotary **** then I would suggest getting the factory cable and you can control the ipod from the radio and it will charge it.

Thanks for the feedback! I have the radio with the volume *** in the center. I can't get to my car right now, but when I do I will check for the model number. But it would be great if that cable I linked to is all it takes. $19.99 sounds much better than some of the more expensive stuff I thought it might take.
