Hello scionlife members, I was planning on getting an aftermarket headunit installed into my 2010 Scion Tc. The radio I have now is the stock pioneer premium audio headunit. This was the goal, but it would seem that the installers are having difficulty in figuring out what 2 of the harnesses plugged into the unit do. I think that there are 4 different sets of harnesses plugged into the stock radio now.

Now my question is to all the 2010 scion tc owners. How step by step are you supposed to install an aftermarket radio such as an Alpine into my scion tc; the installers don't know what to do with the other sets of harnesses or wires.

I've searched this forum but I couldn't find anything. I'm guessing it's just common sense to you guys. So PLEASE help me.

 

mad easy wiring harness are labeled and like pioneer are same color so all u do i connect all with the same color

red with red yellow with yellow etc....

Okay, but wouldn't there still be 2 harnesses that aren't plugged into the aftermarket that WERE plugged into the stock? Or am i supposed to just leave them unplugged...

 

u will leaved them unplugged one is for ipod and the other one for aux
