They require a 6" hole to mount. They are 6.5"/7" in diameter. Mount two in a 0.5cuft sealed box or a slightly larger ported box and they will sound great.

Hey mandos, quick question about those side panels in the hatch.

Are the slots for the cover permanently attached to those panels or could those two plastic piece be re-attached to the car w/out the carpeted side panels?

 

The two plastic pieces can be removed from the carpet and mine will be reinstalled

 

I can vouch for the sanding and comando! Used to build solid surface counter tops.. dont get that stuff in those places.. that s#!t itches

wow mandos, this thread was started over a year ago. i bet you had this done back in nov '05 but didn't want to post finished pics because he knows that in typical SL fashion everyone here would be like "go get a dyno and tell me what the performance is!"
