Rear hatch trim covered in aluminum

Hatch with the rear piece in aluminum

Inside view:

Forgot to get one of the screens chilling.
Can only do one side at a time as they start to slide.

Seems to me that since it became a part of your tc, and therefore can't be driven while it's still frying, that you've done a TON of work on it. I know that it's not true though. I understand that when making something like this problems arrise that can take a while to solve. Keep goin man.
Oh no, I keep driving my car every day
But now that it's in there, yeah, it's just more motivation since I can't even use the hatch
I just can't do anything during cure times
Also, don't drive w/o the weather stripping thing. Hatch bounces horribly.

The look of sheer determination:

Finishing off the last layer

Putting in the stock pieces to conform around:

Pushing hard to get it to click back into the exact replica of it on the right side:

From the Left:

Good thing I used tape:

Hooray for screens...again:

And in the center...random shot:

No wind, this side went a lot smoother than the other side. Ended up with a much more even application, but a little messier onto the tape.
YAY TAPE.

Mixed the last batch w/ half the resin(ran out) and the same hardener...makes the aluminum stick a bit, worked well again though:

Peeled the aluminum off the tape nicely:

And I'm out for the night.
